Encompass Health will begin hosting an Alzheimer’s Support Group beginning Tuesday, June 4th 2019. Helen Figueredo, CDP of Providence Healthcare Services, through a collaborative volunteer program with the Alzheimer’s Association, will be the group facilitator. The group will meet every first Tuesday of the month from 11:30-1:30pm. This is a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where caregivers will have a light lunch and share their experience and knowledge of caring for a loved one with the disease. If you are a caregiver of someone with Alzheimer’s or a related disease, this support group is for you.
