Meet Our Team
Nercy is the founding President and C.E.O. of Providence Healthcare Services. She oversees all strategic growth initiatives of the organization while maintaining regulatory and fiscal responsibilities. After fifteen years in successive management and sales positions in the corporate environment she transitioned to the homecare industry and pledged to build a reputable organization committed to clinical excellence in Miami Dade County. Nercy is a native of Florida and has resided in Miami her entire life. She has a genuine love for the people, the culture, and the community of Miami. She has served on several healthcare committees and is currently serving as a member of the Elder Affairs Advisory Board of Miami Dade County. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Homecare Association of Florida (HCAF) representing District 11 and is actively involved in local, state, and federal efforts related to advocacy, education, and representation of home health providers in her region. Nercy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Florida International University and a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University. Zeida is the Director of Clinical Services/Director of Nursing (D.O.N) at Providence Healthcare Services. Zeida began working with PHS in October of 2009 and brings more than 30 years of experience in both hospital-based and home health settings with both geriatric and pediatric patient populations. She oversees quality assurance, performance improvement, and all areas related to the delivery of safe and effective healthcare to each client we serve. In her previous roles she held a position in clinical management as well as an administrative role as Director of Infection Control in a hospital setting. Additionally, Zeida co-founded The Champ Foundation, a non-profit organization providing financial and spiritual assistance to families with children diagnosed with cancer. She also worked closely with Nicklaus Children’s (formerly Miami Children’s Hospital) in numerous projects benefitting our community. Tammy oversees the administrative operations for the company and serves with passion and excellence in all that she does. She joined us in 2011 and has held various positions within the organization prior to assuming administrative duties of the firm. Tammy is a problem solver and strives to meet the daily needs of the company with a focus on compliance and outstanding customer service. She is consistently thinking of ways to improve processes which affect the delivery of care and the day-to-day activities of her team. Tammy has as a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Kathy oversees all clinical matters related to working with the Medicaid program. She joined our team in July of 2009 as a Field Nurse and later transitioned into a role as a Field Supervisory RN for the company. She has overseen the complex Medicaid division of the company since 2014, always striving for the highest levels of collaboration among physicians, staff, clients, and the families that we serve. Kathy is a true medical professional, committed to clinical excellence and demonstrating the highest standards in patient care. Kathy was a General Medicine Family Practitioner in her native land of Cuba, a graduate of the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences (ISCM) in Havana. Through hard work and dedication, she achieved her life-long goal of obtaining her Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse license in 2018.
